Shops across the South West have experienced a surge in demand for good quality second-hand clothing since reopening in April and are asking people to consider donating any unwanted items.

Henry Haselock, 33, ran 150 miles along the South West Coast Path – including a 39-mile detour around the G7 summit – during a gruelling five-day endurance challenge from June 7-11.
He ran more than a marathon each day and covered 9,000 metres of elevation on tricky cliff-top terrain from Land’s End in Cornwall to Hartland Point in North Devon.

Kind-hearted Bridgwater man John Holman, aged 87, has been making wooden toys for Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) for more than three years.
John chose to support CHSW after he visited the charity’s Charlton Farm hospice in North Somerset several years ago. John said: “It was a real eye opener, the place is absolutely beautiful.”
