Volunteer in our shops

It takes on average, 12,000 volunteer hours each month to run all our Children's Hospice South West charity shops across the South West!

Become a shop volunteer

Each shop is able to open its doors and welcome customers with a smile, thanks to the help and support of our wonderful shop volunteers. As well as being able to help our customers find good quality bargains in the shop, our volunteers also help to raise much needed funds to provide expert care in our three hospices. Every one of our volunteers brings something different to the team and many have unique and interesting stories of how they came to volunteer and why they chose to do so for CHSW.

I absolutely love it. I wouldn’t do anything different. I worked in mainstream retail before I came to charity but it’s just not as fun. You get such a feeling of pride working for CHSW because you’re giving something back and you know that the money you’re raising is going to a really good cause.
