New rose created to celebrate 30th anniversary of Children’s Hospice South West
A new variety of rose has been created to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Children’s Hospice South West.
The ‘Precious Lives’ rose was specially grown by rose expert David White, Managing Director of Bedfordshire-based World of Roses.
David also created the ‘Jill Farwell’ rose in memory of the charity’s co-founder following her death in 2004.
CHSW area fundraiser Heidi Roberts said the new magenta-coloured rose was named by the charity in recognition of the care it provides to help families make the most of short and precious lives at its three hospices, Little Bridge House near Barnstaple
