Coombe Trenchard House and Gardens near Okehampton is hosting its annual English Country Garden Festival this year on 1^st and 2^nd June. The show will once again be supporting local children’s charity Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).

Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) is pleased to announce three local companies are sponsoring its Rainbow Run, which is taking place on Saturday 8 June at the North Somerset Showground.

Tickets for Children’s Hospice South West’s 5km Rainbow Run are selling fast and the Fundraising Team from Little Harbour children’s hospice are keen for participants to understand what their support means to the charity.

The Rainbow Run is now in its 6^th year and is a fun 5km run, jog or walk around RAF St Mawgan where those taking part get covered in different coloured powder paint along the way.

The very special Narnia sensory garden at Children’s Hospice South West’s Little Bridge House has been given a fabulous new look thanks to two talented local craftspeople and a host of generous CHSW supporters.

A stunning new stained-glass mosaic mirror designed and created by Silverton-based glass artist Sue Smith has been installed at the hospice in Fremington.

Pete Robinson will be joined by 12 fellow ‘old men’ on a 1,000-mile cycle ride from John O’Groats in Scotland to Land’s End in Cornwall later this month in a bid to raise thousands of pounds for Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).

The friends, all aged 50 to 59, will be clocking up an average of 80 miles a day during the 12-day Old Men Go South cycle challenge, which gets under way on May 29.
