Coombe Trenchard's English Country Garden Festival has over 75 different stalls

Coombe Trenchard House and Gardens near Okehampton is hosting its annual English Country Garden Festival this year on 1st and 2nd June. The show will once again be supporting local children’s charity Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).

As well as being a wedding venue, Coombe Trenchard Edwardian Arts and Crafts Country House on the edge of Dartmoor is the perfect setting for the English Country Garden Festival. The festival will bring together specialist nurseries, beautiful crafts as well as artisan food producers.

Coombe Trenchard's English Country Garden Festival has over 75 different stalls This is the eighth year of the festival which will be open from 10am – 5pm each day. Visitors will be able to peruse over 75 different stalls and it really does have something for everyone. Whether you want to browse artisan garden products and furniture or sample some of the South West’s finest food and local produce, it is all available along with vintage home and garden treasures.

There will also be garden games on the croquet lawn for adults and children to enjoy which will all be supporting the event’s chosen charity – CHSW who will also be providing a range of refreshments.

Zoe Partridge, Community Fundraiser for CHSW said “This event is one that we really do look forward to each year and we are delighted that it is once again supporting Children’s Hospice South West. We have to raise over £3 million a year to fund our Little Harbour children’s hospice in St Austell and therefore rely heavily on the generosity of our local communities to help us with that. We are looking forward to a fantastic weekend and hope to see lots of people there.”

Garden admission to the show is just £6 and children under 14 can enter for free, dogs are also welcome on leads.
