New Children’s Hospice South West shop opening in Thornbury

Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) is opening a shop at 4 Horseshoe Lane in Thornbury on Tuesday 16 July at 10.30am.

It will be a great place to find good quality, pre-loved items, from clothes, accessories and homeware to collectables, books and media.

Whether you shop in the store, give your time to volunteer or donate pre-loved items to them - you'll be helping to make a difference to local families whose children are not expected to reach adulthood.

Eddie Farwell to open new charity shop in Ashburton

Children’s Hospice South West's co-founder and chief executive, Eddie Farwell, will be officially opening the charity's newest shop in Ashburton on May 14.

Mr Farwell, who set up the charity with his late wife Jill in 1991, will cut the ribbon to open the new shop at 9 North Street at 10.30am.

The town centre shop will offer a range of goods, including women’s, men’s and children’s clothing and accessories, as well as children’s toys and games and homewares.

Nailsea shop undergoing refurb

The Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) shop in Nailsea, which has been trading since 2007, has temporarily closed due to re-fit to make it bigger and better. However, during closure you’ll still be able to support the charity as it’s opening a pop-up shop during this period.

The temporary shop opened on Friday 11 th January at the old ‘The Blue Room’ having moved across the precinct from Colliers Walk.

4 Weeks of Treats at Little Steps in Bristol

From Monday 20 th August, for four consecutive weeks, CHSW’s Little Steps store in Bristol will have some fantastic offers for customers. To kick-start this initiative, throughout the first week you can buy three items and get the cheapest one free!

Conveniently located on Zetland Road in Redland, the Little Steps shop contains a treasure trove of items for ever-growing children from 0 to 15 years old. The Children’s Hospice South West shop in Totnes recently celebrated its 5 th birthday, with a special thank you to the volunteers and customers who have supported the shop since it opened.

The shop in High Street, Totnes, opened in July 2013, and marked five years of trading with a special cake made by shop manager’s assistant Julia Howarth to thank volunteers and customers for their continued support.
