The staff and families at Children’s Hospice South West’s (CHSW) Little Harbour hospice at Porthpean in St Austell were delighted to receive a donation of a minibus from the infamous Legendary Grand Tour.

The Legendary Grand Tour is an event held every year in North Devon where hundreds of minis from all over the UK come together and drive a set route over the August bank holiday weekend raising funds for various charities and good causes. Last year 230 minis took part along with 40 motorbikes helping to marshal the route.

Curo staff chose CHSW as their charity of the year for 2017 and have taken part in numerous events, contributing to the fundraising total of more than £10,000. After 20 years of constant use, the sensory facilities at Children’s Hospice South West’s Little Bridge House in Fremington were in need of refurbishment.
