Children’s charity Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) recently announced plans for its 10th anniversary Moonlight Memory Walk which is happening in Falmouth on the evening of Saturday 30th March and last weekend the charity launched the promotion of the event with a cream tea.

Thousands of snowdrops – as well as early crocus, dwarf daffodils and hellebores – are expected to be in bloom for the 12th annual Andrews Corner ‘Snowdrop Sunday’, near Belstone, on February 17.

Around 1,000 raffle tickets were sold and Mary Blight, who ran the garage for many years with husband Fred, also made her own Christmas puddings and sold them to help boost the garage’s fundraising efforts.
The Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) shop in Nailsea, which has been trading since 2007, has temporarily closed due to re-fit to make it bigger and better. However, during closure you’ll still be able to support the charity as it’s opening a pop-up shop during this period.
