Westcountry Premium Venison in Launceston has chosen to support Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) through the sale of its popular dog chews.
Staff and volunteers at Honiton’s Children’s Hospice South West charity shop celebrated the shop’s 10th birthday this week.
The shop in the High Street opened its doors on December 16, 2010 and has been well-supported by people in the town, raising thousands of pounds for the charity, which offers vital respite care to children and families all over the South West.
In that time, more than 70,000 bags of goods have been donated to sell in the shop, and countless volunteers have donated thousands of hours of their time.
Throughout December, students at Bridgwater and Taunton College are getting creative and fundraising for a variety of charities.
‘RAGVENT’ as it is known, will be supporting Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW), In Charley’s Memory, and Secret World Wildlife Rescue.
St Ives Brewery, creators of St Ives India Pale Ale, Boilers Golden Cornish Ale and Knill by Mouth Cornish Ale to name a few, is generously donating 10% of its website sales to Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).

Technical injection moulding specialist Hymid has raised £400 for Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) through a recent customer service initiative.
The Torquay-based company incentivised a recent customer survey by pledging to donate £10 for every completed survey returned.
Julius Guth, Sales Manager at Hymid, said there was great response to the survey, designed to gauge customers’ opinions of Hymid, especially during the pandemic.
Karen Tilley from Westbury has signed up to take part in Santas on the Run – goes freestyle to support the hospice that cares for her teenage daughter, Josselin.
Andrew Buckle from Bradley Stoke and his dog Raff will be raising some Christmas cheer in their festive gear by taking part in Santas on the Run - goes freestyle, on 13th December.
