Fundraising at university
We rely almost entirely on voluntary contributions to raise the £9.8m a year we need to continue our vital care, and if you’re a student at university there are lots of fun ways you can help. Whether it’s on campus through your RAG (Raising and Giving) Officer or student union, organising your own event or taking part in one of our CHSW events, there is something for everyone. With our help and support it can be fun and most importantly, very rewarding.
Why not nominate Children's Hospice South West for your university's Raise and Give week as a great way to raise awareness of our work, have fun and raise vital funds! Your local community fundraiser would also love to come and visit to give a talk.
Sponsored 'Give Something Up'!
This can be fun and also personally challenging! Anything from sweets and chocolate, to smoking!
Charity club night
Sell tickets for a charity night at your Student Union or local bar/club. Sell tickets in advance as well as entry on the night, and hold an auction or raffle of donated prizes.
We're here to help!
We can provide you with all the support you need, as well as lots of materials such as balloons, posters and stickers. Your local Community Fundraiser can come along and give a talk, or collect a cheque.
If you’d like to get involved, we’d love to hear from you. Please contact your local community fundraiser to find out more.
