Enjoy entry to two beautiful gardens on the north coast of Cornwall

Just an 8 minute drive apart, 2 beautiful gardens on the north coast of Cornwall are opening in aid of Children’s Hospice South West. Both gardens have a large variety of shrubs and succulents in full bloom with stunning views across the Camel Estuary and Polzeath Beach.

St Enodoc Hotel St Endoc Gardens

The gardens are characterised by a rich and diverse collection of native and temperate plants; these include succulents, agaves, silver birch and a plethora or herbaceous perennials spread over many beds, inclusive of a white bed and a blue bed. Coupled with the lush and vibrant display of flowering plants, trees and shrubs, it also have 2 areas dedicated to growing produce such as herbs and edible flowers which are used in food and beverages in the hotel bar and restaurant.

The gardens are naturalistic in appearance and offer a welcoming and calming space for our guests and their dogs to relax in.

Malibu Malibu Gardens

With stunning uninterrupted views over Polzeath beach and Pentire headland this compact dual aspect garden is very challenging, being only yards away from the cliff edge, exposed to very strong winds. Nevertheless, there is a surprising amount of interest with garden features and plantings, named rockeries, herbaceous borders maturing after 15 years, hydrangeas, hostas and ferns are prominent as well as a new greenhouse with significant succulents on show. The garden’s succulent flowers show extraordinary colour during May but are still interesting all the year round.

Both formal and informal garden walks available.
