Run the Rainbow for Children's Hospice South West!
Tickets have now sold out for Rainbow Run Bristol
Unfortunately we will have no tickets for sale on the day. We're very sorry if you were unable to get tickets, but please keep checking our website for information on Rainbow Run 2019.
We will see you then!
Bristol’s Rainbow Run is the brightest 5k around, where you can walk, jog or run your way through 5k of colour explosions of powder paint to raise money for Children’s Hospice South West! Now coming to our brand new location, Blaise Castle, for 2018!
Anyone aged 5 years and over can come and enjoy the fun so gather your friends, family or colleagues to enter a team to the event of the summer! Turn up in your white T-shirt and leave with a big smile, happy memories and covered in every colour of the rainbow!
It is not just a run but a day full of fun...
Adults and children: 1.45pm
Join us in our event village from 11.00am to make the most of the colourful fun before you run! We will have face painters and a glitter bar, entertainment from the Batala Band, a massage tent for pre and post run stretching, music from Cadence Entertainment to get you all in the Rainbow mood, and our legendary warm up from Joe will take place before the run. There will also be food and drink available to help fuel the run, and we will be selling our colourful Rainbow merchandise! Our resident CHSW photographers will be on hand to capture all of the fun of the day. PLEASE NOTE: Children can only take part with a paying registered adult.
We are trying to be as GREEN as possible at our CHSW events this year, and are very excited to share with you our plans for Rainbow Run 2018!
This year, to help reduce the amount of single use plastic at our Rainbow Run, we will have CHSW reusable water bottles for sale, that you can purchase and fill up on the day in the event village. We are very lucky to be working with Thirsty Work, who are kindly supporting our event and providing us with all of the water for the day! Water will be provided free of charge for you to fill your bottles, or, if you want to support our GREEN initiative even further, you can bring along your own bottle already full of water.
Any plastic left over after the event will be taken away by Thirsty Work and sent to Simply Cups, a fantastic company who recycle plastic and paper cups, and turn them in to traffic cones and patio furniture!
We hope that this initiative will dramatically reduce the amount of plastic waste, and we hope that you will all support us in our steps towards making our events more sustainable, and helping to improve the environment.
Pot of Gold Competition
The sponsorship you raise for taking part in Rainbow Run will be like a ‘Pot of Gold’ to our families and as a thank you for your hard work, we’ll be giving prizes for your efforts, so get fundraising! Our ‘Pot of Gold’ competition is a free prize draw for individuals who raise over £50 sponsorship, and teams who raise over £200 sponsorship, with a voucher up for grabs for the winning individual, and a ‘Rainbow Hamper’ for the winning team. Your registration fee only covers the cost of your participation in this event. Your sponsorship will help to support the vital work of Children’s Hospice South West.
