Music At The Chapel this Christmas
The fabulous team At The Chapel in Bruton have joined forces with Dominic Greensmith and Amy Newton's band Girl plus very special guests to host a festive evening featuring all-time favourite Christmas songs, in support of Children's Hospice South West (CHSW).
CHSW provides respite and short breaks, emergency care, palliative care and end of life care at three wonderful children's hospices; Charlton Farm in Somerset, Little Bridge House in Devon and Little Harbour in Cornwall. All proceeds from this event will go towards helping local children with life limiting conditions and their families and to making the most of short and precious lives.
Organiser Dom Greensmith explained his motivation for setting up the event: “I was really moved on a recent visit to Charlton Farm to witness the daily challenges faced by the children and their families and by the level of care and support offered to them by CHSW. CHSW rely almost entirely on donations to exist. I was blown away by the warmth and happiness that I felt at Charlton Farm and by the dedication of the whole team there. I wanted to put on an event that helped this wonderful cause.”
The event, ‘Simply Having a Wonderful Xmas Time’ takes place at The Chapel on 22nd December 2019 at 8pm.
