Ocean Housing Group Spread Festive Cheer

Ocean Housing Group celebrate being headline sponsor for Santas on the Run Eden

Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) is delighted to announce that Ocean Housing Group, based at Holmbush in St Austell, is generously supporting its upcoming Santas on the Run event at the Eden Project by being the headline sponsor of the event.

Santas on the Run is a 2km festive fun run which will raise vital funds to help children with life limiting illnesses that visit Little Harbour hospice at Porthpean for short breaks and respite. The event has received support in previous years from Ocean Housing Group, a not for profit, charitable registered provider of social and affordable housing. Sponsorship of the event by Ocean Housing Group helps to cover event costs meaning that more money raised by those taking part can go towards the vital care offered at Little Harbour.

Mark Gardner, Ocean Housing Group’s Chief Executive said; “Ocean Housing Group is again very proud to be the main sponsors of the Children’s Hospice South West Santa Run event being held at the Eden Project.

This is an exceptional charity that offers help and support to those who need it at the most difficult of times, and we wish them, and the participants every success on this fantastic event.

Over 500 people have already signed up to take part in the 2km sponsored fun run on 8th December. The event will see all ages running, jogging and walking around the iconic venue while also raising funds and awareness of CHSW. Tickets for the morning run have already sold out however there are still spaces available for the afternoon run.

Those taking part in the event will receive a Santa suit to wear and keep, medal, festive treat and free entry into Eden for themselves and any spectators they bring on the day.
