Steve and Mark Smith from Coast 2 Coast Security based in St Austell have recently handed over a donation of £3,324 to Children’s Hospice South West’s (CHSW) Little Harbour following their fundraising from the Banger Rally Challenge in 2018 and 2019. 

The brothers drove their limo to Gibraltar in 2018 on the challenge and then to Pompeii in Italy in 2019 and all in fancy dress.

Steve from Coast 2 Coast said “We had an absolutely brilliant time on each of the challenges, however parking our limo in some of the places along the way was quite challenging!

As a family run business family and our children are really important to all of us, which is why we decided to support this special local cause.

We were really pleased to be able to visit Little Harbour to drop of our donation and we hope it can make a difference to the families supported by the hospice.”

Bernadette Chambers, Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser for CHSW was presented with the donation from Coast 2 Coast and said “On behalf of everyone here at Little Harbour thank you so much to Steve, Mark, all the Coast 2 Coast team and everyone who donated towards their challenges. They have covered thousands of miles and have raised an amazing amount. Donations like this are so important to us to keep being able to offer the care and support that families so desperately need for their children.”

Steve and Mark are also planning their annual charity rugby match which will be happening on 23^rd February, more details to follow soon.
