In the unlikely event that CHSW has to cancel the event, all participants will be contacted about a registration fee refund and any sponsorship money received by CHSW can be refunded on the request of the sponsor.

Based on the 2022/2023 financial year, the odds of winning 1 of the 12 prizes is 1 in 1,334. Odds for our 2023 Raffle will depend on the amount of tickets sold.

If we have space on an alternative wave time, we'll be able to accommodate your request.

Please call the following numbers by the 1 December to make a change:

This will depend on the role you are taking on, but most volunteers will be asked for at least two reliable references. For certain roles that involve working on our hospice sites you will need a DBS check (formerly CRB), which we will organise for you.

This is not a race and is more about having fun than setting a personal best. Take your time. But if you must, time your run with your own device. There are no prizes for finishing first at this run. You can walk, jog or run it!

Your Payroll Giving donation automatically stops when you leave your job. It's easy to start giving through the scheme again. Simply contact the payroll department at your new workplace.

If you require accommodation on Thursday night you will need to book this yourself as it is not included in the registration fee or as part of the event.

Long-term donations enable us to plan for the future and ensure money is available where it is needed most, so we can be there for as many families as possible.

Regular gifts mean a consistent, predictable income so we can plan and budget better, making us more efficient. It’s also more cost effective. More of your money goes to our work as they generate less administration and carry cheaper bank charges.

There are benefits for you too. A regular gift is a hassle-free way to donate, while knowing that you are helping us make the most of short and precious lives.

Make a donation.

Please bring your running number, which will have been posted to you with your Fundraising Pack, and ensure the medical details are completed on the reverse. You will need to bring safety pins to attach your number to your front ready for the start of the race. If you have lost your number please come to the Information Tent where we can issue you with another.

There will be a cleaning station at the finish line with brushes and wet wipes to remove excess powder paint and foam from. There aren’t any changing facilities on site, but we recommend having a towel and change of clothes ready in your car on hand before you journey home!
