Porsche Club GB Brings “Porsche Joy” to Children at Little Bridge House
A fleet of cars and generous community spirit combined to create a memorable day for children and families at Little Bridge House, as members of Porsche Club Great Britain made their annual visit to the hospice.
13 club members arrived in convoy, showcasing a striking variety of Porsche models, much to the delight of the families and staff. The visit has become a much-anticipated annual tradition.
Throughout the day families and staff were given the opportunity to enjoy short passenger rides in the iconic sports cars.
Following the rides, club members were invited on a guided tour of Little Bridge House. The visit offered a closer look at the specialist care provided by Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW), helping members gain a deeper understanding of how the hospice supports babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families.
The day concluded with a presentation celebrating the club’s ongoing fundraising efforts with a £4,000 cheque.
Daniela Hopkins, Area Fundraiser for CHSW, said:
We’re so grateful for this visit from the Porsche Club, it was so wonderful to see the smiles on the children’s faces when they got to sit in the beautiful cars! This will create lasting memories for our families
Mike Williams, Regional Organiser of the club, said:
This is such a superb service for those that are in need, it was humbling to see such an amazing place for children.
The Porsche Club Great Britain’s annual visit continues to demonstrate how community partnerships and shared experiences can deliver both joy and support to those who need it most.
