Standing ovation for A Million Dreams: PGS Theatre celebrates charity success
PGS Theatre Productions is proud to reflect on the extraordinary success of A Million Dreams, a musical showcase presented in aid of Children’s Hospice South West and held in loving memory of Oliver Brown.
This heartfelt production brought together a remarkable community of performers, creatives, musicians, and technical teams whose dedication and passion made the event truly unforgettable. Their collective efforts not only delivered an inspiring evening of musical theatre but also honoured Oliver’s life in a way that was both uplifting and deeply moving.
We were thrilled to see full houses across the performances, a testament to the community’s support and the powerful connection audiences felt with the story behind the showcase. The energy and warmth in the theatre each night served as a fitting celebration of Oliver’s spirit, while also helping to raise awareness and vital funds for Children’s Hospice South West.
Ross Ayling, Chairman of PGS Theatre Productions, said: "I extend my sincere gratitude to every individual involved in bringing A Million Dreams to life. From those on stage to those working tirelessly behind the scenes, your commitment and talent made this production a resounding success.
We are incredibly proud to have created something so meaningful—an event that not only showcased artistic excellence but also united people in compassion, remembrance, and hope.
Annabel Roberts, Area Fundraiser for CHSW, said: "We are incredibly grateful to PGS Theatre Productions for creating such a moving and uplifting evening with A Million Dreams. Events like this not only raise vital funds but also shine a light on the vital care we provide to babies, children, young people and their families across the South West. Honouring Oliver Brown’s memory in this way makes the support even more meaningful, and we are truly touched by their generosity".
