Community Evening in support of Little Harbour
Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) is holding a community evening in a pub in Delabole.
On Wednesday 1 October, The Poldark Inn in Delabole is opening its doors to the local community to come and engage with CHSW.
This will be the perfect opportunity to find out more about the charity and how it’s service and support for local families is evolving.
The evening will start at 6:30pm with refreshments, followed by a short informal presentation from Alice Merrett, the local Area Fundraiser at Little Harbour children’s hospice in St Austell. There will be a chance to ask questions afterwards.
Alice said: “It would be lovely for those who live in Delabole, and the surrounding area, to come along and find out more about Little Harbour and the incredible work of CHSW.
Anybody is welcome, and it is sure to be an engaging and informative evening.
Little Harbour supports more than 130 families from across Cornwall and Plymouth through hospice days, hospice stays as well as home visits and virtual support. It costs around £4 million a year to run Little Harbour which relies almost entirely on voluntary donations.
