Michael Spiers donation brings Christmas joy to Little Harbour

22 December 2025 CHSW

Michael Spiers, the South West’s leading independent jewellery and watch retailer, has generously donated £2,500 to Children’s Hospice South West’s (CHSW) hospice, Little Harbour.

Families enjoying the lights

Little Harbour provides vital care and support to babies, children, young people and their families in Cornwall and Plymouth, and currently support 110 families.

This donation was dedicated to making Christmas celebrations extra special for families at the hospice. The funds were used to create a magical outdoor light display, which brought joy and festive cheer to families during visits on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 December.

The sparkling lights transformed the hospice grounds into a winter wonderland, offering families the chance to enjoy a warm and memorable experience together during the holiday season. There were refreshments and activities for everyone to enjoy as they made their way around the trail.

Adam Spiers said:

We are very proud to support Little Harbour and the incredible work they do for children and families facing the most challenging times. This contribution reflects our ongoing commitment to giving back to the community and spreading joy where it matters most.

Nikki Harris, the Hospice Operations Lead at Little Harbour, said:

It was utterly delightful to see our families enjoying the lights. Seeing them all laughing and chatting as they made their way around the grounds makes us remember why we do what we do, and we couldn’t do it without generous donations from companies like Michael Spiers. Seeing them create magical memories like this is incredible, we are so grateful.
