Bristol based business, The IT Storeroom, is the first company in the South West to have bought and installed a ‘life changing coffee’ machine which donates 50p from the sale of every drink to Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).
Kirsty Bale, co-owner of The IT Storeroom, expressed her delight at the response so far. She said: “Filwood Green Business Park has been incredible encouraging the other tenants to support this and it's certainly proving to be very positive for the charity. I for one am delighted that CHSW receive a monthly instalment of donations from us to help towards the amazing work they do.”

The machine offers a selection of freshly ground coffees and hot drinks, selling at £2.50 each. With a maximum cost per drink of 25p, businesses who decide to lease or buy a machine outright, will see a £1.75 per drink profit too.
Kirsty continued: “We love to support CHSW and try to take on challenges to fundraise for them throughout each year and this allows us to do so, COVID or no COVID. It is an incredible charity and we really want to help them continue to provide care to children and families.”
Amanda Gallagher, Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser at CHSW, said: “This is a fantastic way to have your daily hot drink and raise funds for charity at the same time. The pandemic has meant that most of our fundraising activity has been hit this year – postponed or in most cases cancelled – so an initiative like this ensures we still receive a regular income from businesses that want to support us. I’d like to thank The IT Storeroom for their support, helping us to continue to be there for families now and into the future.”
