Hildy's Hospice Hike sets off from Little Bridge House

James Hildreth leaves Little Bridge House on Hildy's Hospice Hike fundraising for CHSW

And they’re off! Hildy’s Hospice Hike sets off from Little Bridge House
Somerset County Cricketer, James Hildreth and fellow hikers Adam Dibble, Ross Ward and Mark Turner, set off today (Wednesday 18 October) on their epic ‘Hildy’s Hospice Hike’ challenge - all to raise funds for Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).
James and his team set off from the charity’s Little Bridge House hospice, on their way hiking to CHSW’s Little Harbour hospice in Cornwall via the South West Coast Path. The team will be camping along the way and hope to complete the 130 mile journey by Saturday. James Hildreth, who has played for Somerset since 2003, has chosen CHSW as his charity to support as part of his testimonial year and said: ‘Having a young family myself I really wanted to do something different to support this very worthwhile charity and I’m fortunate that my close friends were happy to join me on the challenge. We’ve already had some great support and if you see us on our way, then please do wave!’
The hikers are hoping to take four days to complete the challenge, arriving at Little Harbour On Saturday 21 October and you can follow their progress on Instagram @hildyshospicehike, or Twitter @HildysHike, or see https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/HildysHospiceHike
