Fugro Sponsor 10th Moonlight Memory Walk
Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) is excited to announce that it has the support of Fugro as a sponsor for its Moonlight Memory Walk which is returning to Falmouth on 30th March.
The Moonlight Memory Walk is a 5 mile sponsored walk which has been held annually for the past nine years to raise vital funds for CHSW which runs Little Harbour children’s hospice in St Austell. Historically a ladies-only event this year’s special 10th anniversary walk will be welcoming men to join for the first time. There is also the option for people to walk the 5 miles in their own time and then join virtually on the evening via Facebook Live to watch the memory ceremony take place.
Sponsorship from Falmouth based Fugro, who specialise in marine site investigation, drilling and construction is integral to the event. Fugro’s sponsorship helps to cover event costs meaning that even more of the money raised in sponsorship by those taking part can go straight towards the care provided by the charity to local children and families that stay at the hospice.
CHSW offers short breaks, respite, palliative care as well as end of life care and bereavement support to children suffering with life limiting or life threatening illnesses as well as their families. The charity has three children’s hospices in the south west including Little Harbour in St Austell which supports children and families from all across Cornwall and Plymouth.
