Devon Open Studios event in support of children’s hospice
South Devon artist Jenny Brown is taking part in the Devon Open Studios event this month in support of Children’s Hospice South West.
Oils and watercolour painter, Jenny, from Ipplepen near Newton Abbot, is one of 250 artists opening their doors to the public all over Devon from September 7 to 22.
Her study of light and colour is depicted in a variety of subject matter including landscapes and seascapes, floral and figure painting. 
Jenny will be exhibiting at The Orangery at Dainton Park Golf Club, with a donation from sales of paintings going to CHSW, which offers respite to more than 500 children with life-limiting conditions and their families across the South West.
She said: “It’s a fantastic venue, on the A381 between Newton Abbot and Totnes, and I hope people will enjoy the chance to see my work and perhaps make a purchase to support the children’s hospice.
“I have so enjoyed supporting the charity for many years and wanted to continue this support when exhibiting for Devon Open Studios this year.”
