CHSW to Open New Charity Shop in Newquay
Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) is delighted to announce that it will be opening a brand-new charity shop in Newquay on Monday 27 July.
The new shop, located on 23 East Street in Newquay, will offer a wide range of pre-loved items, including clothing, homeware, books and accessories. It will also feature a ‘Little Steps’ section, offering children’s clothing, toys and baby items for local families to browse.
Designed as more than just a retail space, the shop will also include a community area, creating opportunities for people to connect, engage and support the work of the charity.
Jerome Browne, Area Retail Manager, said: “We’re incredibly excited to be opening a shop in Newquay. Cornwall has always shown fantastic support for our charity, and having a presence in such a vibrant, popular and welcoming town will help us raise vital funds.
Every purchase, donation and volunteer makes a real difference, and we can’t wait to welcome shoppers through the doors when we open on 27 July.
Alice Merrett, Area Fundraiser for Children’s Hospice South West, added: “I am thrilled that we’ll be having a shop in Newquay. The support we receive from communities across Cornwall helps us continue providing expert family support at Little Harbour and this new shop will give people another fantastic way to get involved.
Whether you donate quality items, volunteer your time or simply pop into shop, you’ll be helping local families make the most of every precious moment together.
The charity is now appealing for donations of quality pre-loved goods ahead of the opening and is also looking for volunteers to help in the shop; a variety of flexible roles are available.
