Charity Gold Day raises record £3,000
Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) is thanking Tolchards Drinks after the company's annual Charity Golf Day raised a record-breaking £3,000 to support local children with life-limiting conditions and their families.
Held at Cumberwell Park Golf Club in Bradford-on-Avon, the popular event welcomed 25 teams who took part in an 18-hole Stableford competition. Throughout the day, players enjoyed refreshments provided by Tolchards' suppliers and the golf club, helping to create a fantastic atmosphere both on and off the course.
The event concluded with a charity auction, raffle and prize presentation, bringing golfers, supporters and sponsors together to celebrate a successful day of fundraising.
CHSW would like to extend its thanks to Michaela, Helen and the entire Tolchards team for choosing the charity as the beneficiary of this year's event. Special thanks also go to Tolchards' suppliers for their generous support, including Asahi, Thatchers, Luscombe, Carlsberg/Marston's, Budweiser, Molson Coors, Hawkstone, Heineken, Diageo and Witchmark.
The Wild Pizza Company also played a key role in the day, keeping players, staff and the Tolchards team well fed throughout the event.
Daniela Hopkins, Area Fundraiser for Children’s Hospice South West, said:
A heartfelt thank you to Tolchards for choosing to support Children’s Hospice South West. Without their generosity, we simply wouldn’t be able to provide the care, comfort and special moments that mean so much to the babies, children, young people and their families that we support.
The £3,000 raised represents a record-breaking amount for Tolchards' Charity Golf Day and will help CHSW continue providing vital hospice care and support to children and families across the region.
Daniela added: "We are incredibly grateful to everyone who took part, donated, sponsored or supported the event. It was a wonderful day and an outstanding fundraising achievement that will make a real difference to the families in our care."
