Bradfords announces three-year partnership with Children’s Hospice South West
Bradfords, the leading independent builders merchants in the South West and a family business with over 250 years of heritage, has announced it will be supporting children’s charity, Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW), through a newly launched three-year partnership.
The partnership, which aligns with Bradfords’ commitment to supporting local communities, will see teams from across the merchant’s 45 branches raise funds at local trade days and other CHSW events throughout the year, as part of a full calendar of activities to engaged teams, customers and the wider community.
David Young, CEO of Bradfords Building Supplies, said: “We are incredibly proud to be announcing this partnership with Children’s Hospice South West.
Their dedication to supporting families through the toughest moments resonates with our own values as a family business. We look forward to making a real difference together over the next three years.”
The collaboration launched this week at Bradfords’ Yeovil branch with a Breakfast with Santa fundraising event, including a festive raffle and fancy dress competition.
CHSW Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser, Amanda Gallagher said: “We are absolutely delighted to be working together with Bradfords through this partnership and are really looking forward to supporting them through what I am sure will be a very exciting relationship with CHSW.
Not only will this partnership generate vital funds for local families, but it will also strengthen bonds between colleagues, suppliers and customers across the entire Bradfords network.”
CHSW supports more than 500 babies, children, young people and their families across the South West through its 3 hospices in Devon, Cornwall and North Somerset.
CHSW relies almost entirely on voluntary donations to raise the £14 million a year needed to run the charity’s three hospices. Support from the local business community is vital for the charity to be able to provide its specialist care and support.
If you, or your business, are looking for a charity to support, contact your local CHSW hospice to find out how the Fundraising Team will be able to help you, as well as share with you the difference your fundraising could help make to so many families.
