Aspects Holidays handover their donation to Amanda from CHSW

Cornish holiday letting agent Aspects Holidays have donated £3100 to Children’s Hospice South West, for their ‘For all the times that matter’ awareness campaign.

The team at Aspects Holidays felt moved to donate to this incredibly important campaign, which helps to create special moments and lasting memories for children and their families who are supported by Children’s Hospice South West.

Children’s Hospice South West has three hospices in the region including Little Harbour in St Austell.

Little Harbour cares for children from across Cornwall and Plymouth who have a life-threatening or life-limiting condition and are unlikely to reach adulthood. Little Harbour provides specialist palliative care, resilience stays, a sibling service for brothers and sisters, support to parents, emergency support, end of life care and a bereavement service. CHSW has adapted its care model since the pandemic and as well as providing care at its hospices, it also offers care in families’ own homes and virtually.

Amanda Masters, Area Fundraiser for Children’s Hospice South West said; “We are absolutely delighted to receive this generous donation from Aspects Holidays. Little Harbour is all about helping families to rest, recharge their batteries and make precious memories together – all the things many families do when on holiday. This donation will help support local families to have those special times together.”

Here’s what Commercial Director for Aspects Holidays, Mandy Spencer, has to say: “Little Harbour offers such vital support to families at a time when memories mean the most.

Our team at Aspects are lucky enough to help thousands of families make happy holiday memories every year, but the services that Little Harbour offers mean so much more to the families that need their help and support.

Having close family members in this sort of situation myself, it is an honour to be in a position for us to help make a difference by supporting this amazing charity.”
