Funeral collections supporting Children's Hospice South West
We are always grateful to received funeral donations which are a vital source of income to the hospice.
Funeral donations are a particularly meaningful way to pay tribute to the life of a loved one whilst also contributing to the care and support that CHSW provides.
If you are organising a collection at a funeral or memorial service, we can provide you or your funeral director with collection envelopes, each printed with clear instructions. These discreet envelopes allow friends and family the opportunity to Gift Aid their donation, making it worth 25p more at no extra cost to them. Alternatively, either you or the funeral director can set up a SMILE Tribute page which provides a special place to remember someone you love and where online donations can be made
My Mum was such an active charity supporter that it felt right when we collected gifts in the beautiful envelopes at her funeral, knowing we were continuing to help CHSW in her memory.
Paying in funeral collections
By cheque
If you would like to make a donation via cheque, please make it payable to CHSW and send it to: Children’s Hospice South West, Little Bridge House, Redlands Road, Fremington, Barnstaple, Devon, EX31 2PZ.
Cheques should include the name and address of the person they are donating in memory of, so that we can thank them for their donation.
Online or by BACS
- You can pay in funeral donations online using our donation form. Please select 'In memory of someone' as your reason for donating and let us know that the donation is a funeral collection by leaving a short typed message.
- If you wish to pay in by BACS, our bank details can be requested from Katie Shields.
- Alternatively you can set up a SMILE tribute where donations can be made online.
