The CHSW Raffle is a fun and engaging way for Children's Hospice South West to raise much needed funds. Each ticket gives you the chance of winning 1 of 12 fabulous prizes.

Entries close on Tuesday 5 September 2023.  The draw takes place at midday on Wednesday 20 September 2023

Ticket numbers are drawn randomly on the date of the draw, once a ticket is drawn it is removed from the draw, therefore it is not possible for one number to win more than one prize. Prizes are allocated in the order of the tickets drawn from first prize to third prize. .

Tickets can be purchased online. Each raffle ticket costs £1 and there is a minimum purchase of 5 tickets and a maximum purchase of 200 tickets. Payment is by debit card only.

Only persons aged 18 years or over and resident in Great Britain (England, Scotland or Wales) are eligible to enter the Raffle. CHSW Staff and their families are permitted to enter the Raffle. CHSW Directors as well as CHSW staff and employees of service providers who are directly involved with the administration of the Raffle are not eligible to enter.

The purchaser's name and full address. If you buy tickets for someone else (over 18 years old), you can add their details during the process. It's useful to add a daytime phone number and email address too, as we try to contact winners by telephone first, followed by email.

CHSW Raffle prizes are 1st £2,500, 2nd £500, 3rd 10 x £50 

The cost of each CHSW Raffle ticket is £1. Each ticket has a unique number. There is a minimum purchase of 5 tickets and a maximum of 200 tickets per CHSW Raffle. 

Unfortunately we cannot claim Gift Aid on funds raised through the raffle, but if you choose to make a donation with your ticket purchase, we can claim Gift Aid on that.

Between April 2022 and March 2023, an average of 61p in every £1 went directly to fund care for children, young people and families. 22p was used to fund prizes and 17p covered the cost of running the CHSW Raffle.

Based on the 2022/2023 financial year, the odds of winning 1 of the 12 prizes is 1 in 1,334. Odds for our 2023 Raffle will depend on the amount of tickets sold.

Winners will be notified within 1 week of the draw date by telephone first, followed by email, where their details will be verified. Once verified a cheque is sent by post. Winning ticket numbers are also published on the CHSW website.

Winners must verify their details and claim their prize within 6 months of the draw date, after which CHSW will treat the prize as a donation.
