The role
Children’s Hospice South West are looking for people who are able to volunteer from time to time to help in their local community. You will support CHSW and help raise awareness of the essential work we do caring for local families.
Tasks may include:
- Attending local community events with a representative of CHSW
- Servicing collection tins
- Helping at bucket collections
- Looking for fundraising opportunities in your local community
- Being a representative for CHSW in your local community
What we're looking for
No qualifications or experience needed but the following skills would be helpful:
- Good customer service
- Happy to be part of a team
- Able to lift small bags
- A helpful caring manner
- Honest, reliable, trustworthy with a flexible approach
- Respectful of others
Practical considerations
Volunteers may need to have access to their own transport, although we will do our best to ensure that all volunteer commitments are within your local area.

Training
Training will be supported with the specific role/s you are able to help with.
An introduction to CHSW and a tour of your local children’s hospice will be organised with you
