You can decide to compete the 5k where you feel it will be most fun! You could complete it around your own home or garden or whilst out on your daily exercise - it is 5k your way!

All we ask is that you ensure you complete it in line with Government guidelines and in a space that allows you to adhere to social distancing of 2 metres away from others outside of your household.

No - we will take your word for it! However, if you want to show your supporters you have completed your 5k, we recommend you download Strava (exercise app) and link this to your Just Giving page or social media as this can also help to increase your fundraising.

If you can not complete your 5k on either of these dates, then please do so on any other day following that weekend and let us know when you have completed it.

You will find the links to the Zoom warm-up for 11.00am and 2.00pm on both days on our Facebook event. Please join the page to upload your photos and videos to enter our competitions too! But let us know if you don't have access to Facebook and we'll send you the links.

Children’s Hospice South West's Virtual Rainbow Run is a fun run event that you can complete in your own time over the weekend of 20 – 21 June 2020, in your own way! It’s all about making memories and having some colourful fun whilst raising money for children and their families in the South West, living with life-limiting conditions.

Choose your own 5k route to complete in whatever way you like… walk, jog, run, skate, ride or even skip your way around, dressed in bright rainbow colours or any other creative ways you can. Got inventive with tie-dye, coloured face paints and tutus, or simply wear a bright pair of socks. See our list of ideas here on how to make your Rainbow Run lots of fun.

Yes - please register yourself and anyone else joining you, so we know who is taking part and you receive all the support and information you need.

Sometimes emails can end up in your junk box, so please check this first. If you still have not received either your confirmation email or welcome email, please email Kiley to check your registration was successful.

If you sign up over a weekend, please note you will not receive your welcome email until the following Monday.

As registration is free, we will be sending a medal to each person registered when the suggested minimum sponsorship of £15 for an adult and £9 for a child is raised individually by each person you have registered.

Visit our fundraising ideas section with lots of Rainbow Fundraising ideas.

No! Anyone of any age can be registered, even the dog!

Participants who register are not obliged to raise sponsorship, however, you will not qualify to receive one of our Rainbow medals purely by taking part. Alternatively, you can make a donation for the suggested sponsorship of £15 for an adult and £9 for a child and you will still receive your medal as a thank you. Please make your donation via our online donation page marking it as your Rainbow Run donation.

Absolutely! If you would like us to send you your Rainbow Run bib in the post, please email Jo and let us know how many you require!

Of course! Please call our Little Harbour hospice on 01726 871 800 and we will help you get this up and running.

No! You can choose to run, skip, jog, hop, ride, walk… however you choose. You can also choose whichever distance you decide is best for you and your family.
