Show off your garden this September!
If you’ve spent time during lockdown getting green-fingered and making your garden into a beautiful haven just like our hospice gardens, why not let others enjoy it too? Help to raise vital funds by holding an Open Garden and showcase your hard work all in support of local children and families. Simply open your garden to visitors and ask for a donation to enter. Alternatively, if you would prefer to offer free entry, you could still fundraise by offering a cream tea or refreshments for visitors to enjoy once inside!
For many of us, our gardens have been a sanctuary throughout the coronavirus pandemic, as are the gardens at Little Bridge House for the children and families who usually visit.
Not only do these outdoors areas provide a safe space in which families can spend precious moments together but they also present the opportunity to enjoy sensory experiences, which can often bring joy or comfort. The Narnia garden at Little Bridge House is a particularly magical place full of enchantment that provides excitement but also peacefulness for children, siblings and parents.
During your open garden event, please ensure you adhere to Government Guidelines and announcements from Public Health England so that you, our wonderful fundraisers, stay safe.
