Celebrate the life of someone you hold in your heart
Inviting you to walk in the beautiful surroundings of Clevedon, raising vital funds for families supported by our 3 hospices, including Charlton Farm.
Lights will guide you on a scenic 5k route, including the historic Clevedon Pier, with live music and space to pause and remember along the way.
We ask each person who takes part to pledge to raise £60 in memory of those they are walking for. This could fund a support session for a bereaved sibling to explore their emotions.

How your Moonlight Memory Walk sponsorship helps
- £60 could fund a support session for a bereaved sibling to explore their emotions
- £100 could provide a parent with an uninterrupted nights sleep, to give them the strength to face tomorrow
- £150 could fund intensive and compassionate support for families in the days following the death of their child
- £215 could fund one of our hospice nurses for 1 shift on 1 day

If you do not wish to join us at Moonlight Memory Walk Clevedon, you are still welcome to add a dedication for your loved one and make a donation.
On the evening
- 6.45pm - Event village opens, live music on the evening
- 7.00pm to 7.20pm - Welcome, safety briefing, followed by a Memory Ceremony with our Charlton Farm family speaking, and live music
- 7.30pm – Start of walk
- 9.30pm - Approx finish time
Venue
Salthouse Fields, Salthouse Rd, Clevedon BS21 7TR
The evening begins at 6:45pm when we invite you to join us at Salthouse Fields to register and collect your T-shirt, and tealight to add to your candle bag. We recommend taking the candle bags with you on the route, to help light your way and to create a shining trail of lights reflecting the loved ones no longer with us.
After a short safety briefing, we will begin the 5k Moonlight Memory Walk.
Please note that only those registered for the event will be able to take part in the event. Please note, dogs are not permitted to attend this year.
Don’t forget to bring with you a torch or headtorch, a bottle of water, comfortable shoes, a warm coat, and don’t forget your bright clothing and glow in the dark, light up accessories, if you wish to wear these!
There will be music in the event village in the evening, and refreshments to purchase on the evening.

- Participant registration volunteer in the Event Village
- T-shirt collection in the Event Village
- Route marshal
- Back-marking of route
