The Simplyhealth Great Bristol Half Marathon returns to the city on Sunday 15 September
The 2019 Simplyhealth Great Bristol Half Marathon will return in it’s fourth year as part of the Great Run Series.
The event comes with its own distinguished history. First staged in 1989 and known as the Bristol Half Marathon, the city centre run has become a long-held tradition in the national running calendar.
Over 10,000 runners every year make this a must do event with an atmosphere second to none.
The course will take runners under the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge with spectacular views along the Avon Gorge and Bristol Harbourside before entering the city centre.
With an electric atmosphere and music at 10 points along the course as well a cheer point from Children's Hospice South West, your journey to the finish line will be truly special!
Please note: the course may be subject to change.
