To apply to become a CHSW Young Ambassador, you must:

  • Be a first year sixth form student
  • Have good listening skills
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Be willing to work together to support Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW)
  • Have a desire to be able to communicate effectively with people of all ages
  • Have some knowledge and understanding of the aims and ethos of CHSW as shown on our website
  • Be an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual.

Following your application you may be invited to an interview with representatives of the CHSW Young Ambassadors Scheme. If your interview is successful, you will be offered a place on the scheme. Please note Young Ambassador places are limited and acceptance is not guaranteed.

However, if you do not provide the information, the organisation may not be able to process your registration properly or at all. registration and to monitor recruitment statistics. We will never share your details with third parties for recruitment or marketing purposes. Please note, if your application is unsuccessful, we will only hold your personal information for 6 months. After this date we will destroy or delete your information. We will manage all personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act as amended in 2018 and the UK General Data Protection Regulations (UK GDPR) 2021.
