In order to offer a range of challenges and destinations, we partner with overseas event organisers who offer 'open challenges'. Open challenges give you total flexibility on when to take part and how to fund your challenge.

We would love if you took on a challenge to represent Children’s Hospice South West however we do require all supporters to apply directly with us for a place before signing up on one of our providers websites due to the cost of some challenges.

A charity space for an overseas challenge requires not only dedication to your training, but dedication to raising the required minimum sponsorship for your fundraising. After your initial deposit, the remaining balance of your trip is paid from your fundraising. 50% of your minimum sponsorship pays for your trip and the remaining 50% funds vital care at our 3 hospices for over 500 babies, children, young people and their families. Any monies raised above the minimum sponsorship will also go directly to care.
