Children's Hospice Week 2020
This is... Children’s Hospice Week 2020
This is... Children’s Hospice Week – the only week in the year dedicated to raising awareness and funds for children’s hospice and palliative care services across the UK, and the seriously ill children and young people they support. Please join us…
This is... the toughest time many of us have ever faced. For families like Noah's, caring for a seriously ill child can mean they feel more alone than ever. At CHSW, we have been adjusting to new ways to care and connect with families like Noah’s. But we need your support to continue.
This is... what you can do to help during Children's Hospice Week:
- Take part in our Virtual Rainbow Run on Saturday 20 to Sunday 21 June.
- Join us for The Big South West Cream Tea on Friday 26 June.
- Join our Be Incredible campaign and do something incredible!
- Take part in our weekly Lottery for the chance to win big.
- Make a one off donation today.
- Make a monthly donation by signing up to Regular Giving.
By joining us to celebrate Children’s Hospice Week, you’ll be making a huge difference to families such as Noah’s, across the South West. Ensuring they can receive the vital care and support they need now and in the future.
This is... Noah. He has been shielding at home with his family for 9 weeks. Since lockdown began, the vital services that Noah receives support from, including those in the community, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech and language therapy, have all stopped. But our support continues.
This is... Vikki and Jo. They have been caring for families like Noah’s and keeping them safe throughout the COVID-19 crisis. While Vikki and Jo have provided in house care for some families, they have supported others with home visits, video calls and phone calls. They have also been working with Children’s Community Nurse teams to provide care in the community to other vulnerable children and young people and alleviate pressure on the NHS.
Thank you for your continued support.
