Capturing moments that matter
Children’s Hospice Week is the only week in the year dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the 49,000 children across the UK living with life-limiting conditions, and the lifeline services that support them.
While it is often easy to take the small things in our day-to-day lives for granted, for our families these truly are the moments that can matter the most. Whether it is savouring a hot cup of tea, an uninterrupted night’s sleep or enjoying a family meal around the dinner table.
Children’s Hospices across the UK help these children enjoy the simple moments in life that we all cherish. Join us this Children’s Hospice Week from Monday 17 to Sunday 23 June.
It was so lovely to arrive late and have someone make a cup of coffee and a hot meal, and I got an uninterrupted shower and night's sleep after a stressful couple of days. The welcome we all got from the team was terrific.
How to get involved
There are lots of fun ways to raise funds and awareness of our work this Children’s Hospice Week, such as a bake sale at work or a karaoke night with family and friends! Don't forget to use the hashtag #ChildrensHospiceWeek

The Alvarez-Griffin family
Peter and Chimi have had regular visits to Little Harbour with their son, Santi, for six months.
Santi was born with an undiagnosed genetic condition and the family comes to the hospice for care and support.
