Away in a Manger

 The parish church in Northlew is organising a special event in the run up to Christmas to support Children’s Hospice South West. 

They will be exhibiting a large selection of nativity sets from around the world on Saturday and Sunday 13 and Sunday 14 December, and visitors will be able to marvel at the many different interpretations of the birth of Jesus. Collected from around the world (and more locally too), they are made by talented crafters including woodworkers, felters, and even lego builders!  

There will also be a walk-in manger grotto in the side chapel for younger children.

• Sunday's event will be followed by Nine lessons and carols from Northlew Silver Band
