Cornish holiday letting agent Aspects Holidays have donated £3100 to Children’s Hospice South West, for their ‘For all the times that matter’ awareness campaign.  

The team at Aspects Holidays felt moved to donate to this incredibly important campaign, which helps to create special moments and lasting memories for children and their families who are supported by Children’s Hospice South West. 

Ben's barnet brings in £2838 for charity

Falmouth man Ben Eddy has raised £2838 for two charities after his Mullet-ON challenge; a year of growing his hair into a mullet and bringing smiles to many around him.

After cutting his hair short in December 2020 Ben set himself the challenge to grow his hair into a mullet in the hope that it would bring a smile to people’s faces as well as raise funds for Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) and My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.

Annual toy amnesty reaches record donations

Lusty Glaze is “overwhelmed” by local generosity in aid of Children’s Hospice South West 

The annual toy amnesty held by Lusty Glaze Beach in support of Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) has hit record donations this year. 

Successfully completing its fourth year, the team at Lusty Glaze encouraged people to ‘swap toys for tea’ by asking them to bring any unwanted children's items down to the beach throughout January in exchange for a free cup of tea or coffee. 

Hundreds of trees planted in support of local hospice charities

Hundreds of trees have been planted in North Devon in support of the region’s two hospice charities.

Last year, the Bratton Fleming-based company Birch Meadow Landscaping invited people to buy a tree for a minimum £4 donation to Children’s Hospice South West and North Devon Hospice.

At the weekend, Birch Meadow owner Edward Prouse and his team planted 200 trees donated through the scheme and presented cheques of £500 to each charity.
