£25,000 Pledged in the Moonlight
Saturday night saw the streets of Falmouth lit up with lights, feather boas and purple tutus as 400 ladies walked a 5 mile route around the town raising funds for Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) at the Moonlight Memory Walk.
Moonlight Memory Walk
Saturday 30 September 2017
Our Moonlight Memory Walk is an uplifting girl’s night out where women of all ages take to the moonlit streets to walk in memory and celebrate the lives of those we love with every step.
Celebrate 25 years of Children’s Hospice South West with us on a five mile circular route of Falmouth.
The event is open to ladies only, aged 14 and over.
By taking part, you’ll help to raise vital funds to support the families who use our hospices; you’ll be helping to create their precious memories that will last a lifetime.
The sponsorship you raise will help us to continue to provide care for children who are not expected to live into adulthood, as well as support for their family. From the moment of diagnosis through to bereavement and beyond, we are there for families whenever they need us.
The memory ceremony
This event begins with an uplifting candle lighting memory ceremony which features music and a special reading. The ceremony allows walkers an opportunity to reflect, remember and celebrate loved ones.
Personalised candle bags will have a memory candle placed inside before they are beautifully arranged around the fountain. You can walk in memory of a loved one by wearing their name on the back sign we provide in your fundraising pack.
You can support the work of the hospice and celebrate the life of a loved one by making a donation in their memory.

How your sponsorship makes a difference
“For me it’s like a second home. The support we get from Little Harbour is absolutely fantastic and I really don’t know what we’d do without them.”
