Hundreds of trees planted in support of local hospice charities
Hundreds of trees have been planted in North Devon in support of the region’s two hospice charities.
Last year, the Bratton Fleming-based company Birch Meadow Landscaping invited people to buy a tree for a minimum £4 donation to Children’s Hospice South West and North Devon Hospice.
At the weekend, Birch Meadow owner Edward Prouse and his team planted 200 trees donated through the scheme and presented cheques of £500 to each charity.
