Dartmoor Wild & Free Letterbox Walk

Quarry car park, Two Bridges, Princetown
Event organiser:

Take in beautiful Dartmoor for Children's Hospice South West

Following on from the very popular Monarchy letterbox walk across Dartmoor in aid of Children’s Hospice South West, the Wild and Free letterbox walk has now been launched.

If you fancy getting out in the fresh air and want to make the most of what our beautiful Dartmoor National Park has to offer, then this might be the perfect idea for your household. You have thirteen walk stamps to find and collect on a 3 mile family walk, starting from Barn Hill car park. This gentle stroll incorporates the Grimstone & Sortridge Leat, Feather Tor, Heckwood Tor and lastly passes north of Pew Tor before heading north westerly back to the Barn Hill area.

From scenic vistas overlooking the countryside to stunning leats, this is a fun day out for all! It’s just £2.50 to receive your clue sheet and starter stamps - please contact Gordon Vickers or purchase at the Fox Tor Cafe, Princetown.

**Please note** The Wild and Free Bird walk will be on site until 31 March 2021. Please ensure you are following all government guidelines.
