Paddle for Life!
Join us on 1st July 2012 at Ilfracombe Harbour and be part of CHSW's second Paddle for Life event!
The first Paddle for Life took place at Fistral Beach. The event was inspired by a little boy called Joe Way. Lifeguards, who had been touched by Joe’s story - and his courage and hope in the face of terrible odds - took to the water to do something positive and make a difference. Joe passed away in his dad's arms on the 7th May 2008. He was deeply loved and still missed today, but is the inspiration for the Paddle for Life event.
