MY FUNDRAISING EVENT
This year I'll be getting on my bike to raise money for the Children's Hospice South West.
Over the 2nd-4th July I aim to cycle 240miles of the long and undulating roads from St Austell in Cornwall upto to the city of Bristol in Somerset. The route will take in some of the hardest hills in Cornwall, Devon and Somerset and crossing through challenging terrain over Bodmin Moor, Dartmoor and Exmoor national parks. The route will encompass tarmac roads and off-road tracks as part of the well connected Sustrans routes and Camel trail. This will be no ride in the park for all those taking part and there should be around 100 doing the distance.
The Children's Hospices really need the money to help make a difference to hundreds of families in the area. By helping me and the others reach the £100,000 target you will be undoubtedly offering significant support for 400 families this year

ABOUT CHILDREN'S HOSPICE SOUTH WEST
At Children’s Hospice South West we help and support children and their families who are living with life-limiting conditions. We are the only organisation in the South West to provide vital hospice care to these families, and are here for families day and night throughout the year.
There are over 1000 children who could benefit from our care, yet we are only able to provide care for up to 400 families. Of these, some come to us for palliative care, some for emergency care and many for planned respite and a rare opportunity for a break.
