We are looking to fill two key professional roles in our multi-disciplinary care team. All of our care team members provide one to one care for our life limited children, which includes being a contact for a number of our children and families.
This is likely to be very different from most professional roles.
Practically it is different because there is a requirement to work across all seven days of the week (working two weekends in four) on a range of early, late, and night shifts.
It also provides a great opportunity to really make a difference. Working closely with our children, you will support both the child and their family in an environment that provides respite, palliative, end of life and bereavement care. This is an opportunity to use your professional skills to enhance practice within the hospice and to increase the understanding and the skills of our team, whilst you increase your range of care and clinical skills.
This is an opportunity to work as part of a very considerate team, in a beautiful purpose built, homely environment set in the lovely North Somerset countryside. Other benefits include competitive annual leave and pension packages (with NHS and teachers continuation of pension available), paid meal breaks with home cooked meals provided when on shift, additional unsocial hours payments and free parking.
If you are a fully qualified and experienced Physiotherapist, with particular experience of working with children (ideally those with life limiting conditions), then we would really like to hear from you.
You can call Nicola Waycott, Head of Care at Charlton Farm for an informal discussion about the posts on 01275 866615.
