Tavistock's Devon Dumplings Present!

The "Devon Dumplings" and their Die Hard Trilogy Three Peaks Challenge! On The 4th Sept 2010 Paul Greenhill, Mat Cole, Mat Venner, Lee Greatrex, Will Tomkins and Dan Langley will conquer Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Snowdon in Wales all within 24 hours!

This small but brave band of fine young men from Tavistock will be pitting themselves against the biggest mountains the UK can throw at them. Tavy men against three mountains! They will succeed and along the way they will be raising money for the Precious Lives Appeal!


ABOUT CHILDREN'S HOSPICE SOUTH WEST
At Children’s Hospice South West we help and support children and their families who are living with life-limiting conditions. We are the only organisation in the South West to provide vital hospice care to these families, and are here for families day and night throughout the year.

There are over 1000 children who could benefit from our care, yet we are only able to provide care for up to 400 families. Of these, some come to us for palliative care, some for emergency care and many for planned respite and a rare opportunity for a break.

But there’s more to it than that. We provide a loving and caring place for every member of every family who stays with us; a sanctuary for mums and dads, brothers and sisters. A place where everyone can begin to forget their worries for a while, be a family again and find expert help and support in facing an uncertain future.

Children’s Hospice South West has two purpose-built hospices in the South West. Little Bridge House in North Devon and Charlton Farm in North Somerset. A third special home from home for life-limited children in Cornwall and Plymouth, is due to open in 2011 called Little Harbour
