Children's Hospice South West

Making the most of short and precious lives across the south west

Welcome to Michael's fundraising page

CORNISH FIRST AID SUPPLIES FUNDRAISING EVENT

Mike Chaplin (the Dare Devil) will be doing a Tandem SkyDive on behalf of Cornish First Aid Supplies.

We aim to create a day that is fun for everyone. There will be a spectator area to encourage you to bring your colleagues, friends and family to the event.

Mike will start with a 20 minute scenic flight over the stunning Cornish
coastline - THEN COMES THE BIG MOMENT - both Mike and his instructor will be released into the magnificent open air at around 10,000 feet and will be excelling to a speed of approximately 120mph for almost 1 mile and will finally enjoy a five minute parachute ride back down where he will have the chance to view the unrivalled scenery of the surrounding area from a truly unique perspective. And it is stunning!!

If you would prefer to donate with cash there are collecting tins at The Explorers Cafe in Lemon Street Market, Truro and The Falmouth Hotel, Castle Beach, Falmouth.

There is a great Prize Draw for everyone who donates to this worthy cause - just £1 will get you a ticket, though obviously we would prefer just a little bit more - please see the prizes below:

Family Pass to Newquay Zoo
Family Pass to Eden Project
10 Pasties from W C Rowe (2 prizes of Cornish Pasties)
1 hours Massage from Fiona Lockhart at your home or work (Cornwall only)
£50 of First Aid Supplies (kits, bandages, plasters, ice packs, whatever you want)
Fire Extinguisher for Home or Work (can be exchanged for a Fire Blanket or Smoke Alarm)
2 tickets to Crealy Great Adventure Park - each ticket is for 2 people

ABOUT CHILDREN'S HOSPICE SOUTH WEST
At Children’s Hospice South West we help and support children and their families who are living with life-limiting conditions. We are the only organisation in the South West to provide vital hospice care to these families, and are here for families day and night throughout the year.

There are over 1000 children who could benefit from our care.
