The Battle for Wraxall!
Entertainment starts at 1pm
Kick off 2.30pm
Charity champion Mark Walker has invited presenters and DJs from the region's radio and TV stations to make up one team, while former Bristol City and Bristol Rovers players Alan Walsh, Lee Archer and James Green are putting together the rival professionals team of present and past Rovers and City players.
The celebrity team is expected to include goalkeeper Rich Fey, boxer Glen Catly, footballer Jamie Patterson, cricketer Syd Lawrence, Kiss 101's Reece Carter, Heart's Andy Bush and Paris Troy, Original radio's Jed Pitman, Dave Payne from the Bristol Evening Post, Steve Scott from ITV, and the BBC's Jason Harold, Simon Ross, Andy Howard, Tim McSweeney, Pete Simson, Andrew Plant and Richard Hoskin.
With Darren Daley of Star Radio agreeing to be referee, enthusiastic celebrities will be playing their part as coaches, linesmen and commentators, or wielding a sponge for any injuries and serving up the half-time oranges.
Negotiations are still going on to finalise the full line-up with even more celebrity and sporting names.
